NYAB has entered into a conditional share purchase agreement to acquire Dovre Group Plc’s Norwegian consulting business and global project personnel business.
According to NYAB, the acquisition strengthens the company’s position in engineering, construction and maintenance services for infrastructure and energy, and is a platform for further expansion both in the Nordic region and globally.
“The strategic platform acquisition of Dovre Group’s Project Personnel and Consulting businesses further strengthens our expertise and service portfolio within the infrastructure and energy sectors. By leveraging the acquired businesses’ expertise and strong customer relationships, we can deliver more comprehensive solutions to a larger customer base across a larger geography,” says Johan Larsson, CEO of NYAB.
The acquired businesses have a turnover of approximately EUR 125 million, with an operating profit of approximately EUR 5 million and approximately 600 employees. They will continue under the same name and management. The current CEO of Dovre Group Plc, Mr Arve Jensen, will continue with NYAB as head of the acquired businesses.
Dovre Group Plc is a provider of project management services and is listed on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
The construction and civil engineering company NYAB, founded in Luleå, acquired the Finnish Skarta Group in 2022 and is now a Swedish-Finnish group, listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
