Norway will keep exploring for oil and gas, new center-left government says

The news comes even as the EU released a strategy calling for an end to Arctic fossil fuels.

HURDAL, Norway — Norway will continue to explore for oil and gas in the next four years, with most new drilling permits to come in mature areas of the sea, the incoming center-left government said on Wednesday.
