Tomorrow November 29, the Arctic puts on its sparkliest mittens for Pan-Arctic Vision, a cheerful northern answer to the big song spectacles of the world — but with fewer lasers, more sincerity and a whole lot of snow-kissed charm.

Artists from across the circumpolar world will gather in Iqaluit, Canada to share songs rooted in ice, wind, reindeer, islands and stubborn community spirit. It’s the Arctic’s take on Eurovision, with less political drama and more polar bears. You can watch the event live from the events Facebook page.

Performers and where they’re from:

    • Shauna Seeteenak — Iqaluit, Nunavut
