Monidor Oy has entered into an OEM agreement with Nonin Medical, Inc. to expand remote monitoring service and meet customers’ need for continuous monitoring of oxygen saturation. The agreement enables Monidor to offer remote monitoring service with pulse oximeters provided by Nonin Medical, Inc.
Monidor remote monitoring for continuous SpO2 and pulse rate measurement is a significant step towards the broader development of remote monitoring services, and the company believes it will bring considerable added value to hospital wards and hospitals at home. The aim of the new service is to help detect hypoxemic episodes in time and to prevent ICU transfers.
