Last year, Nätverket E-sport in Gällivare, the author Linda Jones from Luleå, and Sofie Törmä/Frubjudning in Kiruna were awarded LKAB grants.

Once again, the time has come to reward sports talents, cultural creators, and enthusiasts who help make our communities in Norrbotten and Narvik richer and more enjoyable to live in. Help us find the 2026 recipients of LKAB’s sports, culture, and community engagement grants!

The grants are worth SEK 75,000 each and are awarded according to the following criteria:

  • Sports: To an association or individual who has distinguished themselves through valuable sporting achievements. We are happy to see young, promising talents who are on their way up!
  • Culture: To those who enrich our everyday lives through creativity. Goes to associations or individuals who have made significant contributions to cultural life.
  • Community engagement: To that one enthusiast or association that goes the extra mile, who spread joy and make it a little more fun to live and work right here.

The grants will be awarded in the spring/early summer of 2026.
