🇸🇪 Contract Award Decision: Construction and delivery of one new Icebreaker

The Swedish Maritime Administration thanks you for your interest in connection with the procurement of one new icebreaker. The procurement was conducted as a negotiated procedure in accordance with the Public Procurement Act (2016:1145) (LOU).

Following the completed procurement, the Swedish Maritime Administration has decided to award the contract to:

HD Hyundai Heavy Industries (230111-0312741)

The decision was made after reviewing and evaluating the submitted tenders. The evaluation was carried out according to the conditions set out in the procurement documents.

A binding agreement is only in effect once it has been signed by all parties.

A standstill period of ten (10) days applies from the date of publication of the award decision. If the tenth day falls on a public holiday, the standstill period will be extended to the next business day.

The standstill period is valid until and including 2025-07-07, and the agreement can be signed no earlier than 2025-07-08.

All tenderers are bound by their tender until its validity period expires or an agreement has been signed.

A report of the evaluation is attached to this award decision. Please note that commercial confidentiality in accordance with the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act (OSL) 2009:400, Chapter 31, Paragraph 16, has been granted for all tenders that were not awarded the contract.
