🇮🇸 Icelandair extends partnerships with Southwest, Turkish Airlines, Visit Greenland, and Air India

This morning, Icelandair announced expanded partnerships with Southwest Airlines, Turkish Airlines, and Visit Greenland as well as a new codeshare agreement with Air India.

Details for each include:

  • Southwest Airlines announcement: The two airlines will introduce connecting services through Orlando, Pittsburgh, and Raleigh-Durham. These three new cities will be in addition to the existing partnership, which enables seamless connections through Baltimore, Nashville, and Denver.
  • Turkish Airlines announcement: Through this enhanced collaboration, Icelandair will introduce direct flights between Reykjavik and İstanbul. Icelandair will also place its marketing code on select Turkish Airlines flights beyond Istanbul, covering destinations across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa – extending their global network reach.
  • Air India announcement: Icelandair announced a new codeshare partnership with Air India, significantly boosting connectivity between India and Iceland, while offering seamless travel options across 15 routes in India and Europe.
