🇫🇮 CooliBlade completed production scaling plan – ready for high volume production

CooliBlade is proud to announce the successful completion of the startup phase of our next-generation production line. Following the installation of high-volume-capacity equipment earlier this year, the line has now fully transitioned to series production.

This milestone marks a critical turning point for CooliBlade. We have moved beyond the “pilot” phase of industrialization; our production technology is now proven stable and operating at target speeds, enabling significant volume increases at CooliBlade’s own production facility. The new production line was designed and realized in close cooperation with Mectalent and the Beckhoff Automation team.

2026 theme: towards uncompromising reliability

Now that physical capacity is in place, our focus in 2026 will shift to one of our core values: reliability. This transition brings certainty for our customers. The completed ramp-up ensures predictable lead times and consistent product quality, unit after unit. We have spent the last few months validating our processes to ensure that we are not only fast but also consistent. After the expansion, we will be able to operate the NPI line for small prototype and pilot batches and, at the same time, transfer larger production batches to the new production line. The new production line will also serve as a model line for future production expansions, from which the experience gained can be fully utilized in implementing customized production concepts.

In the new production line, we have invested particularly in product quality control and traceability. Each product is marked with a unique QR code, enabling traceability throughout its lifecycle. Each production stage includes a significant number of quality control measurements, which we use to inform quality development and anticipate future needs. From the beginning, CooliBlade’s strength has been that the starting point for product design has been efficient manufacturability, enabling us to deliver reliable, durable, and cost-effective products to our current customers.

Next step: building a global partner ecosystem

In the next phase, CooliBlade will focus on ramping up global production capacity. Our Oulu factory will be the core of our production, but our 2026 strategy also includes expanding production in both Europe and Asia. Our goal is to meet the scale required by the world’s leading industrial players. We are strongly expanding our supply chain and manufacturing partner network. We are building manufacturing partnerships with CMO partners, and negotiations have already begun with several players.

Our goal is to secure global manufacturing partners who can produce customized thermal management products based on CooliBlade’s NEOcore technology near our customers. This “local” manufacturing approach offers several advantages in terms of flexibility, scalability, and reliability of future production.
